Book of the week.

This week I am spotlighting, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch.  If you haven't read this book you need to go out today and purchase it or if you have a Nook, Kindle or any eReader download this book immediately. I can't say enough how amazing this book is, I've used some Randy Pausch quotes in the past for my quote of the day posts. 

The Last Lecture, is an actual lecture that Randy Pausch made at Carnegie Mellon where he was a professor at that time. It was his "last lecture", because months earlier he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and wasn't given a great shot at survival, he was actually only given months. 

His lecture was about living out your childhood dreams, he goes through all of his childhood dreams and how he lived them out even if it wasn't as direct a path as he would of liked. This is definitely a must read, you'll read it in a day because it's that great. Randy Pausch is a truly inspiring man and his love for life and passion for everything he loved most certainly lives on in this book.
