Quote of the day

Hey Beauties, happy, happy Wednesday! I'm so excited for today, I will be teaching my first yoga class tonight. I can't believe this day is here, I've worked so hard studying and practicing yoga since October, passing my yoga teacher's exam in April and here I am, which proved to me that hard work pays off. I am a little nervous because I know it's going to be a pretty large group, but I've done my yoga flows so many times that I'm just going to have fun and help people feel great by them them an awesome workout. I'll be sure to let you know how it all turns out, wish me luck! 


Getting back into the routine of working in Manhattan, training myself for a some upcoming races, getting settled into a new apartment, coaching my running team and of course dedicating time to Jeans and Tee's and Travel and Cakes has me very tired this last week. But I feel like I am earning my sleep, working hard during my day, going after things and really hustling makes my nights so much more enjoyable when I get into bed and get a great nights sleep. Fill your days, get the most out of them.

Today's quote comes from famous author, poet and pretty lady, Maya Angelou. It's funny I found this quote because the manfriend and I recently had a conversation about what she states, so I totally agree with her message. Don't chase money, chase dreams! Find your passion, do it well, work your butt off and win the respect of others and through doing all of that maybe the "money" will come to you.
