Quote of the day. + A Nice Tune.

Happy Saturday Loves and a huge Happy Birthday to my nephew and godson, Jack Tucker. My life was changed six years ago when he came into this world, this little guy has taught me so much and it is so beautiful watching him grow into such an amazing little man. I'm so proud of him and so lucky to be a part of his life. I can't wait to celebrate him today, it's going to be an awesome time.

I love you Jack Tucker

I'm enjoying my Saturday morning, this is the second weekend in a row where I had no place to be Saturday morning, so with that being said, I'm going to take full advantage. I'll watch some SportCenter catch up on my news, go for a run, work on the blog and of course have some much needed coffee. I hope your day is fun and productive, you deserve it.

Remember to check out the Jeans and Tees and Travel and Cakes July GIVEAWAY! Jeans and Tees is giving away a awesome pair of TOMS Classic 101 Sunglasses. Today's quote comes from my favorite Joni Mitchell song called, Circle Game. The words to this song are just lovely and are perfect for today, as I am celebrating my little nephew's birthday. I love you Jack and you light up my life.

Life goes so quick, enjoy it loves. Don't wake up when you are eighty and have regrets. Live, laugh and love.

Enjoy!

Yesterday a child came out to wonder

Caught a dragonfly inside a jar
Fearful when the sky was full of thunder
And tearful at the falling of a star

Then the child moved ten times round the seasons
Skated over ten clear frozen streams
Words like when you're older must appease him
And promises of someday make his dreams

And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look
Behind from where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game *

Sixteen springs and sixteen summers gone now
Cartwheels turn to car wheels thru the town
And they tell him take your time it won't be long now
Till you drag your feet to slow the circles down

And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look
Behind from where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game

So the years spin by and now the boy is twenty
Though his dreams have lost some grandeur coming true
There'll be new dreams maybe better dreams and plenty
Before the last revolving year is through

And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we can only look
Behind from where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game
-Joni Mitchell, Circle Game
