Be Happy.

Friday! It's that simple, I am so excited for the weekend, the fact that tomorrow is October 1st and that I am three weeks away from seeing my Manfriend puts a smile on my face. Tomorrow I head to Penn Station where I'll hop on the AmTrak line up to Boston, where my sister is picking me up and driving me up to her new house in Maine. I'll be up there until Wednesday and I am looking forward to this mini vacation very much, I miss my sister and her little boys.

Last night I got a much needed haircut, I didn't do much to the length, just a trim. I did get some bangs, I was up in the air about getting them but I went for it and I'm super happy with the result. My sister-in-law who lived in France, informed me that bangs were a god choice, making me look more European. I love being an American but when you are in a foreign country the last thing I want to do is stick out. Maybe my bangs will help me blend in, haha.

Rocking the new cut. Do I look more European..haha.

I finally found a dress to wear to Kyle's brother's wedding next weekend. Yes, I know I waited until the last minute but I absolutely love what I found. I can't wait to celebrate with Kyle's family next weekend.

Tonight I'll be doing some more celebrating. Some of my friends and I are taking Kyle's sister Taryn out for a birthday dinner. We are going to the amazing Pasticerria Bruno on Staten Island and it should be a fun night. Happy Birthday Taryn, you are the little sister I've always wanted and I love that I have you in my life.

Good Luck!

Today's quote comes from Anne Frank, who is one of the most talked about Jewish victimsof the Holocaust. Her life's story is tragic, something no child should ever have to endure. But with all that tradjedy she managed to maintain a positive perspective on life. The quote that I will share with you, is just one example of how positive she was.

You have the power of making someone's day, being happy is contagious. Let someone catch your disease. Be positive, smile, laugh, be happy.

Enjoy!

Happy people make others happy too.

love the bangs, always wanted to try them, but my super curly hair doesn't allow that

Awe thanks!! I wasn't sure if I should or not, I just went with it. Sometimes I wish my hair was curly, my hair is so straight, it doesn't do anything!!!

Have a great weekend :)

Best,
Meggie
