Be great! Be you!

Happy Monday Lovers! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Kyle and I are back in Limoges, France with our puppy Wooden and getting back into our daily routine. It's a beautiful day here in Limoges, unlike the usual overcast weather we get here. I just enjoyed a nice walk with Wooden, now I'm sipping on some coffee, ready to tackle the day.

I have to say, having Wooden here in the apartment with me makes things so much better. Days where I might tend to be lazy are long gone, he gets me out of the house, I am so in love with this pup. I can't tell you how blown away I was when we picked him up at the breeder's house, he is now a mini horse! He's huge and has grown so much since I last saw him in early December, I actually have trouble lifting him, which proves that I have no upper body strength.

Part of me can't believe I'm back in France already, I feel like my time in New York went so fast. Transitioning back to the overseas life isn't always easy, I am trying to map out the next few months, making sure I am doing things for myself, setting some mini goals. I am competing in the Paris Marathon in April, so my training will take up a large amount of time. Kyle and I also have a bunch of visitors coming over in the upcoming months, which will make our time in France fly by. I'm not trying to rush through this year, this experience is such an opportunity and we are really lucky to get the chance to do the things we do, but I still love home and find myself missing it constantly.

Today I will leave you with a quote I came across on Pinterest (most addicting site ever),it's from an Unknown Author and I absolutely dig it. I love when I stumble upon a quote that relates to something you are experiencing in your life. Your life is yours to live, so go out and take the bull by the horns, go after what you want, be who you want to be. It can be scary, sometimes you have to take a chance, sometimes you'll succeed and other times you'll fail but that's life. Like I've said before, your life is your story and it deserves to be a best seller. Be great! Be you!

Enjoy!

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right and forget the ones that don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
