Happy Tuesday Loves, it's a rainy day here in Limoges and I'm enjoying my day indoors on Pinterest, so many great fashion, food and craft ideas, my little heart keeps pinning away. Below are a few pins that have really caught my attention over the last week. Also I am loving this week's Pinterest Challenge, mastering the Sock Bun!
Enjoy and Happy Pinning!

Pinterest Challenge:
I have been in love with hair buns for quite some time, I love the sleek, ballerina like look but learning how to make the perfect bun a top my head, has proven difficult. That is until I found out how to do a sock bun. It's so easy to do, very clever, and makes for a perfectly, full bun.
I found a great tutorial on Pinterest, which is pictured below. There are some also some awesome tutorials on YouTube.
What you'll need:
- Brush
- One Hair Elastic
- One Tube Sock
- Bobby Pins
- Scissors
How to:
- Brush your hair back into a high ponytail, using hair elastic.
- Take your tube sock and cut the toe part off.
- From the top of the sock begin to roll down towards bottoms, about 1/2 inch. It will end up looking like #4 in the picture above.
- Take the donut like sock and put your ponytail through it.
- Bring sock to the tip of your ponytail and slowly roll your hair over your sock, try and make it as even as possible.
- Once you get to the bottom, secure with bobby pins and voila you have yourself a beautiful sock bun.
Definitely easy to do and it looks super cute. Here's how mine came out.

You must have read my mind, I was trying to do a hairbun on a whim this morning. I gave up and put it in a boring ponytail. Thanks for the directions I'm trying again tomorrow! ntc
