Life in motion.

Hey there Lovelies, happy Thursday! It is a gorgeous day in Limoges and I plan on taking advantage of it, the temperature is supposed to hit 81degrees today, so I can't wait to hit the pavement for a run and sweat. I'm almost done with week two of the Body Rock 30 Challenge and it's awesome, I'm doing the challenge with my sister so it keeps us both motivated, I can't wait to see our results at the end of the month. You can follow my progress at Project Run, where I post my daily workout results, as well as things that inspire and motivate me to be a beast.

I can not believe that a week from today I will be heading home to New York, closing out my year in France. It is such a bittersweet feeling, last year I couldn't wait to leave Greece, this year I am finding it a lot harder, there is so much about France that I love. Kyle and I still don't know the status of his contract for next year, there is a high chance we will be coming back to Limoges, which I wouldn't mind at all, we've made ourselves a routine here and we like it. But there is that chance that we won't, so for me I keep thinking, I may never be in Limoges again in my lifetime, a place where we've made so many memories, its such a weird feeling, which I'm probably not explaining right.

I do know, that I thought I grew tremendously as an individual last year in Greece but this year definitely trumps that. I've learned so much about myself and also in my relationship with Kyle, the challenges that we've faced this year solidified us, and I can tell you for sure that I've found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. It wasn't always easy, but I've learned something major, life doesn't wait for you to figure it all out, it keeps moving, it's how you react from the day to day challenges that makes you who you are.

More importantly, I've learned that life is way better in motion. Last year I was so focused on getting back to my life in New York, that I was living stagnant. This year I've lived in motion, focusing on each day and being the best I could be in that moment, worrying less and less about getting back to my life in New York because I realized that I was currently living somewhere else, don't waste a moment. Because just yesterday it was October and I was boarding AA Flight 121 to France and now it's May, it's scary how quick the time goes but if you know you are making the most of every single day, it becomes less scary because there are fewer and fewer regrets.

Live the life you've always dreamed of, live in the moment, live in motion.

Hello Meg,

I like the way you write, I really do. You and Kyle are open-minded, and it lets you to get the better of each situation.

I can assure you Limoges' fan really hope you guys will be back next season! Kyle is a real sharpshooter, he's gonna end up 1st of Pro B if I'm not mistaken.

If the new coach doesn't call up Kyle, he'll sure as hell be at loggerheads with the fans! Same thing for Chris Massie...

I take it you won't be there for the French Cup final so if you don't mind I can give you an internet link to follow the game live. You could root for Kyle and CSP from New York!

The game is scheduled to start at 4:30 pm in France, so with the time lag I guess it'd be around 10:30 am in NY?

Anyway lemme know if you want some links, it'll be my pleasure.

Have a nice day,
Julien, from Limoges

Thank you so much for your comment Julien! We really love Limoges, it's so opposite from New York City, it is a nice change of pace.

We will be finding out soon about next year and where we will end up.

I unfortunately will not be here for the French Cup or Playoffs, I have some obligations in New York. If you could send me the link to watch the match that would be amazing, I know Kyle's family and myself will be glued to the computer, hoping for a victory.

Thank you again for reading Jeans and Tees and Travel and Cakes, it really means a lot.

Best,
Meggie

Okay so here is the link !!!

http://www.lshunter.tv/

It's no HD (it's actually streaming) but that should do the trick.

You'll just have to click on your favorite sport and pick the game of your choice.

To top it off, you don't even need to create an account!

Best Regards,
Julien
