Enjoy the little things.

Happy Monday Loves, I hope your weekend was swell. I had a great weekend filled with some major excitement, and now it's time for another productive week. I am so happy because a week from today I'll be picking up my puppy Wooden from JFK airport. He is making his first transatlantic journey from France, and even though I'm a little nervous that he'll be on an airplane all by himself, I can't wait to hold him in my arms and welcome him to New York.

As I've mentioned before, I love life for its little things, the simple things that make an ordinary day a spectacular day. I've realized when you begin to fully appreciate all the little things that you are given that life is indeed good. This weekend my little things were enjoying a spur of the moment lunch with my brother and my nephew Will at my favorite Mexican restaurant, seeing pictures that my sister posted of my nephews in Maine enjoying a day of fishing, and sitting in my parents house with tears of joy and absolute pride coming down my cheeks, as my boyfriend advanced to the French Basketball Championship. (What a game! I must add.) It's those moments that get you up in the morning, it's those moments that show you how beautiful life is.
