Tiffany & Co...FNO

I am utterly in love with Tiffanys, when I found out the my brother, Brendan and his company, Frost Productions was doing the art and lighting installation for Tiffany's Fashion Night Out, I was elated. I was also extremely proud of my brother, he started out as a tech guy for Frost, now he is an Art Director, dealing with some very high profile clients around New York City and Tri-State area.

Here is what Frost and Brendan did for Tiffanys.

I don't want to sound bias, because it's my brother but this is some pretty amazing stuff. It was beautifully done and oh so Tiffany, can you say glamourous!

Congrats to my brother and the Frost Team, I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

And the addiction continues...

You can see from Exhibit A,Exhibit B and Exhibit C, I may have a slight problem.

I've been in search for a pair of Ray Ban Jackie OHH sunglasses for the past few months. I've looked high and low, Sunglass Hut after Sunglass Hut and had no luck. Now this makes someone with a Ray Ban addiction quite batty, once you get it into your sunglass addictive head that you need this specific pair, they must become yours. 

 Friday, during my lunch break I decided to head across the street to Henri Bendel's to check and see if they carry the Ray Ban brand and maybe, just maybe they would have a pair of the Jackie OHH's. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into Bendel's, it looked as though a Ray Ban factory had blown up inside, the store was covered with Rays, tables after table, shelf after shelf of beautiful Rays, this isn't good for the addict within. 

I browsed not wanting to look to desperate to get my little hands on a pair of Jackie OHH's. Finally, as I was beginning to sweat, I asked one to the sales associates if they had the OHH's. She told me that they only had ONE pair left, these have become quite the hot commodity here in NYC she explained to me. I asked if I could indeed "see them", but knowing in fact that that pair of glasses had no chance once they were in my hands, they were mine! She brought over a pair of black Jackie OHH's and I almost began to weep, I tried them on acting like I was deciding whether or not I was going to purchase, meanwhile I had my credit card in hand waiting to be swiped. I told her I would "take them" and giddily skipped to the register.

I left Bendel's with a new member of my ever growing Ray Ban family, and she (Jackie OHH) is quite the member. I know my love of Ray Bans may seem a little excessive but they are timeless and I know one day is the far future, my daughter or son will think I'm awesome because they have some sweet vintage shades to rock. That, or they'll think their mommy is crazy for having a different pair of Rays for every day of the year, I am hoping more for the "awesome" reaction.

My Summer Essentials

The summer months are my favorite time of year to dress up and dress down. Here is what I'll be rocking in the upcoming months. These pieces are classic and can be mixed and matched with other items in my summer wardrobe.  What are your summer essentials?

A Few of My Favorite Things.

Here are a few of my favorite things that I never want to live without and that have become basic staples in my life. 

My Puppy Cobi. I've had him since the 4th Grade and I'll be 25 in December, you do the math. This guy is old but he's a fighter. It breaks my heart that I'm away from him while in Greece, but he's too old to travel and I know my parents are taking good care of him back in New York.

My running shoes. The beautiful thing about running is that you can do it anywhere, I always have a pair of Nikes handy in case I ever feel the urge to go for a run. (Nike always Nike!)

My pair of classic Black Ray.Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses. Even though I have a couple of pairs of Rays, these are always my go to shades, they are so classic and pretty much go with everything. 

Starbucks Coffee. Don't have to say much about this, except that I'm addicted. 

My Nikon D3000. This is my baby and it comes with me everywhere, such a great present to receive.

ESPN's Sports Center. I love all things sport and I find it a necessity to have Sports Center on when I wake up in the morning. 

James Perse White T-Shirts. White t-shirts never look bad, unless they have stains(eww)and are so classic. These in particular are so comfortable, and run very true to size. 

My LongChamp Bag. I love this bag and it's so functional. It holds a lot of stuff, perfect for a day trip. 

Michael Kors Watch. I love this watch, I'm not a big jewelry person but this watch is always on my wrist.

This is my favorite book, Jonathan Livingston Seagull by: Richard Bach. It has such a great message, I try and read it three times a year to keep me moving in the right direction.

My Sister's Cupcakes. See for yourself at http://fatbottomcupcakes.blogspot.com. She has an amazing gift, and keeps my belly very happy. 

My iPad. The iPad makes Blogging so much easier, now I can blog on the go. 

My True Religion Jeans. I got these bad boys at Nordstrom Off the Rack for an amazing price, these have become my favorite pair of denim and man do I love denim. 

Last but certainly not least is my favorite item, it's always on me and it is never coming off. 

My Livestrong Band. I've worn my Livestrong band everyday since 2005, I wear it for numerous reasons. Mainly to remind myself to Livestrong each day, because some people can't. 

Keep it Simple.
